I went to Men's Wearhouse to buy a suit 6/8. The wedding is 8/8. They didn't have my size, but said they would transfer one from another store and it would be there in 3 days. A week later 6/15 I called and left a message asking what was up. Today 6/16 I called the store again. 25 rings, no answer "Verizon cannot complete your call customer is busy" Called the 800 number. After 5 minutes on hold, I asked for live text instead. I sent a text. One hour later, I received a reply. Ten minutes later, I texted back. I was sent back to beginning of the text queue. 5 times I tried. Each time I was sent back to beginning of the queue. I called the store back again. This time the phone was answered. I was told "just come in to store" I asked if my suit was there. Employee, Ian, didn't listen. He said there were many people in the store and he couldn't stay on the phone...
He hung up on me!! Total call time 1 minute 17 seconds Wow wow wow
PS emailed Corporate at 1PM PDT no reply or call by EOD
We were told that our suit rental would be ready on 6/3 for pickup at store 2405 located at 2110 N Rainbow Blvd Las Vegas, Nevada. We arrived at the store 6/3 around 12 pm where we were informed that my fiancé’s (the groom) suit was not there. Although we ordered the suit 2 months prior and were told it would be ready to pick up first thing 6/3. We were told “it might come in with the afternoon shipment”. There was no definite answer given. The gentlemen helping us told us it would be a waste of time to call fedex to track the suit because he would be a hold for a long amount of time. He then told us to take it with a grain of salt as to when the suit would arrive. Keep in mind our wedding was Saturday June 5th at 6:30 am and this was all regarding the GROOMS suit. We were told they would call at 1 pm that day when their afternoon shipment came in and inform us whether or not the suit was in. My fiancé then gave them his phone number so they could call. They had not called us at 2:30 so my fiancé called them. Each time he called it would just ring and nobody picked up. He called at least 10 times. Then he called on my phone (which they did not have my number) and they answered on the first few rings. This led us to believe they were ignoring his phone calls. They told us that it hadn’t come in. They also said they had no idea when it would be in. They did not even offer to track the suit. They said it may or may not be in the following day and they would call us after their morning shipment to let us know. An hour after the said shipment was supposed to come in we still had not received a call. So we called and they said the suit was in. We went in and picked the suit up. Not once did they try to do anything to help the situation or apologize for it arriving late. While we were the we witnessed one of the female employees yell at another group picking up their rentals. Although the group waived their right to try on their suits and signed the waiver acknowledging if anything happened or if the suits were wrong men’s wearhouse couldn’t do anything the employee continued to yell at the group. My parents dropped off the suit because I did not want to ever go back to that store or encounter any of those employees ever again. My parents were yelled and told to just hang up the rental. They did not follow up on how the suits were or anything. The customer service was extremely poor each time we encountered any of the employees or stepped foot in the store. We flew in from out of state for our wedding. So we had no car and were forced to rely on Uber as our transportation to and from the store. We spent nearly $200 going back and forth to the store because we could not get a clear answer on the phone as to when the suit would be in. I would avoid the location at all costs and go to one of the four other men’s wearhouse locations in Las Vegas, Nevada. The customer service was awful, they made no attempt to help or fix the situation, and added so much unnecessary stress to our plates. The whole situation ruined two full days of our vacation because we were worried about and the suit and tried to chase it down because the employees did nothing to help us find it. The whole negative experience took away from the joyful experience of what our wedding should have been. The customer service representative was receptive of our feedback and said they would inform the store of the need to improve their customer service. But we were not offered a reimbursement or refund for the money spent on the suit or the money spent on the multiple Ubers we took there. Other the customer service representative stating that she would talk the store employees nothing was done to make the situation right. Avoid men’s wearhouse store 2405 located at 2110 N Rainbow Blvd Las Vegas, Nevada.
Bellingham Store poor experience.
Purchased in store a new suit and was promised a fitting in approximately 2weeks with delivery of full suit in 4 weeks. Sales staff told us to expect a phone call and/or email to schedule the fitting.
After waiting 5 weeks with zero contact, we called and were told the suit was ready to go. (surprising since we hadn't had a fitting)
got there and they only had the jacket but had no idea where the pants were.
I asked a full refund and they said it was impossible to provide a refund for the suit since they didn't have the pants and that they didn't know where the pants were or when they'd arrive. Working for the government I am very familiar with ridiculous circular logic and this is up there.
The sales person said I'll call you Saturday. Of course they didn't call.
I drove back to the store 10 days later. still no pants, no information, no call and no refund. The original salesman was there and informed me that there was nothing he could do and that it was impossible for him to provide the requested refund. He then proceeded to pawn off the problem on to me making it my responsibility to contact corporate customer service.
I have now been on hold with the customer service line for more than an hour and half with no progress. The Customer service rep said "I've never seen this problem before, I'll need to call the store, please hold...."
Worst customer service experience I have ever had in any retail environment ever.
Will never shop at any Men's Wearhouse again.
Way overpriced for a suit rental $242 for a 1 day rental (that's including their "discount"). I'd rate less than 1 if I could
Staff is friendly and helpful. Manny is the Best! He always remembers my name. He knows what size suit I wear and the fit I need just by looking at me. Wish more retail stores were like this one. Can't get this kind of personal service from an online retailer. Hey Men's Wearhouse management... Give Manny a Bonus!
I bought a pair of shoes online. They sent me the wrong color and wrong style of shoe. I followed their instructions and sent it back via FedEx the same day. They then take TEN DAYS to "process" the order, after which it takes up to five more days for me to get it back. So, I get it back to them in, say, two days, and they take another 2 weeks to return the right item to me. When I asked whether I will get any consideration, they offered me $20 off on $100 of merchandise. In other words, the only consideration is a small incentive to spend another $80 with them. And remember, they won't take $20 off a discounted item, for examplle, the one I originally bought. In addition, if you attempt to call them they make the now tiresome excuse that long delays (with the worst online hold music I've ever heard) are, somehow, due to Covid-19. Excuse me? Online retail is booming during the pandemic. You can't hire people to take up the slack? This lame excuse seems to encapsulate the ethos of this shoddy outfit.
Worst experience renting suits for a wedding. Each visit got a different answer on total due. When it was paid in full, they told one groomsman out of town he had to pay. So embarrassing! With another groomsman made him leave money down at the fitting because his last name wasn’t entered correctly. His first name is Julian, not a common name! Why would he Be fitted for a particular wedding if he wasn’t the right Julian! Lost the suits for the ring bearers and when they finally came up with them 2 hours later one was way too big. Then when I went to return a vest they didn’t want to let me do so because there was yet another issue with money due!! Don’t use them if you need to rent suits or tuxes for the most important day of your life!
On March 7th I bought a suit and it was supposed to be ready for pickup on the 23rd. They called and let me know that it was delayed but I can pick it up on April 18th. I told them it was for my wedding so to please inform me if anything changes which they said they would do and if I didn't get a call from them then I can show up as planned. I didn't get a Call and they are now refusing to give a refund until the store opens in June. They can't process any refunds unless it was bought online. Worst Experience I've ever had shopping. This company can't be trusted and when we need them the most as a customer they CLOSE customer service calls. And so I tried chatting and they person I talked to said ALL supervisors are unavailable. I couldn't talk to anyone about my issue. I paid alot for my suit and won't have one for my wedding and won't get a refund probably ever.
